I am a writer, of the amateur persuasion, looking to have a go at the professional sector. I use this as an outlet while I'm tweaking my novel and as a way to (hopefully) meet others, improve my skills, and perhaps even gain something of a readership.
My preference is science fiction and fantasy, but I dip my hands in horror, political, and romantic prose as well as poetry and sometimes pop-cultural essays. My passion is painting with language. The more clear an image or feeling is, the better I feel I've done.
If you like my work, please let me know. That's a big part of why I do this; to share experiences and ideas with others.
If you want to tell me I'm terrible, you're welcome to do that as well. I would only ask you do so privately, for our mutual benefit.

It's painfully obvious I'm doing something wrong. I feel I should perhaps branch out, but I must figure out how first.
Secondly, I'll figure out if I'm terrible at my trade or not. I might very well be. Bulwer-Lytton never knew he was terrible. He thought he was quite a dandy wordsmith. Although, to be fair, he is at least remembered.
Musings aside, I certainly never forget that we'll be rotting in the same dirt someday. And that's how I'll end this entry; like breaking a vase and then just leaving the room. Dalí would approve!

3. I spend the last 3 days at a writers' conference and found an Anthology group that writes stuff that reminded me of you. I kinda wanna send them a link to this page and be like "dude! Publish. The WickedGumball guy!"
1. I miss you. Write more stuff! 
2. On the other hand, apparently, if you've put the stuff up on dA, it counts as "self published" and traditional publishers don't (usually) touch it... doh.

4. Also, I learned a *lot* about writing anyway and have my Publishy Battle Plan for the next year. Ask me stuff!!! Your short stories are *awesomeness* and more "publishable" than anybody else I know.

Look, at the end of the day, I have no idea who you are, where you are from, where you're going, or what is going on in your life, but - person to person - I love you, Mizu.
I'd buy you a beer and give you a foot rub any day. I owe you that much, at least, for all the times you've made me feel just that much better about myself.
